A lease re-gear is despite you having a period of years remaining on your lease until it naturally expires, .  As is often the case in the current climate the level of rent you are paying may well be above where the current market 'tone' is. In short you are paying too much rent.

 

A re-gear is a negotiation Solsgirth Consulting has with your landlord where we essentially break your lease early, in exchange for a new lease on more favourable terms. Tenants have an intrinsic value in their occupation which is not often reflected in rent review negotiations. This occupational value is used to leverage a more 'market facing' rent, with the landlord receiving a longer commitment in return.
